Barbara K. Benson, age 73, passed away suddenly on December 6, 2020 at White Horse Village.  Born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware to Richard and Katherine Benson.  Ms. Benson spent much of her life in the Philadelphia area and had a passion for education.  She obtained her BA from the University of Delaware and her Masters in Social Work from Columbia University.  She worked in the educational field as both a teacher and a social worker.  She also spent time working for Mellon Bank as a computer analyst.

Services for Ms. Benson will be held at the convenience of her family.
