Anne Pontz, age 65, a longtime resident of Aston and formerly of Darby, passed away on June 14, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Pontz, Anne was a devoted mother, a proud grandmother and loving sister. She will be deeply missed by her family.

Born to Robert and Margaret Foster in 1957, Anne spent her childhood years in Overbrook.  She graduated from Archbishop Prendergast in 1975 and settled in Darby where she lived for nearly twenty years before moving to Aston. An active member of BVM Church, Anne was very involved in her parish community.  She volunteered with Darby Little League and was a huge supporter of her children and their various sports and activities. Anne worked with Penn Delco School District and for Trout Construction. She loved spending time with her family and looked forward to family vacations.

Anne is survived by her children Elizabeth Jowett (Jay) of Highlands, NJ, Steven Trout (Kristin) of Brookhaven, Stephanie Trout of Aston, and Victoria Pontz of Aston; her grandchildren Kathleen Jowett, Kylee Jowett, and Madelyn Trout; and her sister Lorraine Foster of Upper Darby.
