Obituary

Anne Marie McGreal (neé Dougherty), of Collingdale, PA, was freed from her earthly illness and suffering and went home to be with God on Oct. 3, 2023. She passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by loved ones.

Anne was born on January 24, 1966 in Darby, PA. She resided in Lansdowne, PA until the family moved to Springfield, PA. Anne attended St. Kevin's grade school and Cardinal O'Hara High School (Class of 1983). She studied at Delaware County Community College and Moore College of Art, where she enhanced her natural artistic talent.

Anne was married to the "love of her life" Mark McGreal for 25 years and resided with him and her children in Collingdale until her passing. She always enjoyed frozen hot chocolate with three extra chocolate pumps, CJ's water ice, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Wednesday night family dinners and Saturday movie night sleepovers at Mom-mom's, and family weeks in Avalon every summer.

Anne's faith was important in her life's journey, and allowed her to be at peace with herself and those around her. With a childlike spirit, Anne accepted and loved everyone as they were. She had a kind word to say to everyone and about everyone, and her happiness came from making others happy.

Anne was predeceased by her father William Dougherty and her brothers William Jr., and Christopher Dougherty. She was survived by her mother Ethel Dougherty, her husband Mark McGreal, her sons Ryan Little and Jerry Worley, her daughter Mandee McGreal, her step-daughter Courtney McGreal, grandson Heath Giusto, sister Regina Dougherty and brother-in-law Ennio Magnarelli, nieces Jacki and Lauren Magnarelli, and other family and friends.
