Anna M.
Wilson
Oct 26, 1933 — Jul 5, 2025
Anna M. Wilson, a longtime resident of Media and formerly Clifton Heights, died peacefully at Namaans Creek Country Manor on July 5, 2025 at the age of 91.
Anna was born in 1933 to the late Naomi (nee Geiger) and Oscar LeDoux. As a girl, she lived in Sharon Hill where she attended Holy Spirit Catholic School before moving to Village Green, Aston. She went on to attend Notre Dame de Namur and St. Agnes School of Nursing. She and her husband, Paul Rudolph Sr., settled in Media where they raised six wonderful children. Paul preceded Anna in death after 26 years of marriage.
Anna was a devoted mother and had a very strong faith in the Lord. Everything she did was driven by her faith. She often quoted her favorite scripture, "The Lord is My Shepherd, there is nothing I shall want." An active parishioner of St. John Chrysostom, Anna worked as an administrative assistant in the parish office, volunteered with groups that helped homebound, sang in the choir, served as a Eucharistic Minister and was involved in many church programs.
Anna later married John Addison Wilson, and the two spent 21 years together living in Clifton Heights. Anna stayed very active within her home and her community. She started the Head Start Program in Media, volunteered with the Players Club of Swarthmore, and regularly attended water aerobics at the Ridley YMCA. Anna loved theatre, traveling and gardening. She had an incredible green thumb that could make any plant grow. Above all, Anna loved her family and cherished every minute spent with them.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Robert Rudolph Sr., her husband, John Addison Wilson, as well as her daughter, Maria Rudolph.
She is survived by children Paul Rudolph Jr (Julie) of West Chester, Jeannine Rudolph (Pat) of Chester, Joshua Rudolph of Upper Darby, Andrea Lavoie (Ray) of Media, and Jessica Bottaro (Dino) of West Chester. Anna was the proud grandmother of Paul Robert Rudolph III (Danielle), Jeremy Rudolph (Debora), Raymond Lavoie III (Rejane), Sara Taylor, John Paul Lavoie (Kelly), Gabrielle Bottaro, Nicolas Bottaro, and Angelina Bottaro and six Great-grandchildren.
