Obituary

Anna M. "Ann" Santore

The world lost a special woman on January 8, 2026.  Ann, age 91, of Glen Mills, Pa., was born on November 13, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pa.

A love story like no other, Ann, as he endearingly referred to her, has joined her late beloved husband of sixty five years, Anthony, "Ton" in heaven and we are convinced that they are rejoicing in being reunited and are dancing with joy while doing the jitterbug to Glen Miller.

Ann, deeply loved and cherished by her four daughters, is survived by her daughters Ann Mulé and her husband, Jim Burke, Chris Eisenacher and her husband, Gary Eisenacher, Lisa Zaccarelli and her husband, Steven Zaccarelli, and Cindy Belnomi.

Ann also has eleven surviving grandchildren: Christa Ilic' and her husband, Ceda Ilic', Ron Jillard and his wife,Tracy Jillard, Paul Mulé and his wife, Kelly Mulé, Stephanie Ochall and her husband, Kevin Ochall, Marisa Arms and her husband, Devin Arms, Philip Zaccarelli and his wife Jackie Zaccarelli, Anthony Belnomi, Luke Zaccarelli, Christopher Mulé, Dominic Belnomi and Chyna Belnomi, the newlyweds, and Ryan Eisenacher.

Ann's surviving great-grandchildren are Juliette Jillard, Josie Mulé, Caroline Jillard, Evie Arms, Allie Arms, Teddy Mulé, Benny Jillard, Aleks Ilic', August Ochall, Vinny Zaccarelli, Nicky Jillard, Adrijan Ilic' and Luca Zaccarelli.

Ann was the beloved daughter of her previously deceased parents, Vincent Marcucci and Anna Marcucci. Ann's late siblings were Vincent Marcucci and his late wife, Rita Marcucci, and Michael Marcucci and his surviving prior wife, Barbara Marcucci. Ann is also survived by her in-laws, Rocco Santore, Joe Santore and his wife, Anna Marie Santore and Mary Ann Santore-Scott. "Aunt Annie" is also survived by her nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and close friends.

Ann was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. What Ann treasured most was spending time with her family. Some of her favorite things to do were gardening, singing, dancing and watching Eagles football games on Sunday while cooking homemade meatballs and pasta for her family. She also enjoyed serving Pina Coladas poolside in the backyard and spending time in Cape May, NJ. Ann also valued higher education and earned her undergraduate degree later in life at Neumann University.

"Anna Banana" as the staff lovingly referred to her at Maris Grove and Willow Tree Hospice suffered from Alzheimer's disease for many years. She lived her final years at the Maris Grove Rose Court Memory Care and Skilled Nursing Units. Ann received exceptional and loving care from the entire staff at Maris Grove Rose Court as well as from the staff at Willow Tree Hospice.

Ann leaves behind a legacy of goodness and wisdom which will be remembered by all those she touched. She was loved beyond words by her family and friends.
