Andrew J. Hamilton III from Ridley Park went home to the Lord on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Little Flower Manor. Andrew was born November 25, 1942 in Philadelphia. He was the son of the late Elizabeth and Andrew Hamilton Jr. Andrew was raised in Colwyn, PA and was a graduate of Ridley Park High School in 1961. In high school, he earned the name "Blackie" due to his dark hair, which many still call him.  He went on to earn a Bachelor's degree from Widener in 1973.  Andrew held a position at Boeing where he met the love of his life, Elaine. The two are together again in Heaven.

Most of his career he was Vice President of Sales for Users, Inc. He held many sales meetings on the golf courses and managed to hit 13 hole in ones that he was so proud of. Andrew served on Springhaven Country Club's Board of Directors for many years and was a lifetime member of the club. He was also a  proud member of the Ridley School Board for many years and even though he was a "Parker" he claimed he bled green. Andrew was very proud of his daughters and attended every school, music and athletic event. He is remembered by many as being Mr. Starter at swim meets and Mr. Referee at diving meets. Survivors: daughters Lisa (Chris) Amundson of Folsom, Renee (David) Burnette of Bethlehem, and Elaine (Chuck) Bailey of Ridley Park, 9 grandchildren that made him proud, Allison, Mitchell, Brandon, Colin, Jennifer, Nick, Abigail, Jake, and Anthony.

Visitation/Service: Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial on Tuesday, May 25 from 9:30  to 11 am with a service immediately following at Rigby, Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E. Fourth Street, Media, PA. Contribution in his memory to: www.woundedwarriorproject.org
