Amy Green, age 48, died on November 17, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia, Amy was the daughter of Horace and Judith (née James) Green. She was a longtime resident of Ridley and more recently of Collingdale. Amy worked with Ridley School District as a Paraeducator for 23 years, making a difference in the lives of the students and teachers she worked with. She also helped with before and after care programs with Right at School. When she wasn't working her butt off, Amy loved spending time in the mountains of Tennessee with some of her favorite people.

Anyone who knew Amy would say what a beautiful soul she was. She was as stubborn as a mule, but we all loved her nonetheless. Amy will be truly missed by all who were lucky enough to have her in their lives.

Amy is survived by her daughter, Samantha Stewart (Chad Reiner) of Elizabethtown; her brothers, Sean Green of Boyertown and Steven King of Parkesburg; and her friend and father to Samantha, Edward Stewart.

Services will be private.
