Alice Stango, age 93, a longtime resident of Springfield, PA, died peacefully on October 6, 2020.  Alice was born in Philadelphia to the late Bill and Jennie Masciotro.  She and her husband of 68 years, John Stango, resided in Glenolden, PA for nearly 20 years before settling in Springfield.

Alice took great pride in her role as a mother and a homemaker.  She also enjoyed her time working in sales at Snellenburg's Department Store. Alice was very creative and had an eye for home decor.  Her home always reflected her artistic side.

Alice was preceded in death by her sister, Lena Sassano, and brother, Bill Masciotro.  She is survived by her husband, John; her loving daughter, Cheryl Stango of Media; her brother John Masciotro of Churchville, PA and many nieces, nephews & cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 9th at St. Mary Magdalen Church (2400 N. Providence Rd. Media, PA 19063).  Friends and family may attend the visitation from 10-11:00 am in the church.  Mass will begin at 11:00 am.  Burial to follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
