Alexander K. Daniel, age 90, beloved husband, father and grandfather, died peacefully on April 2nd in Philadelphia.  Mr. Daniel was a 25 year resident of Woodlyn and was the husband of the late Zeenat Daniel. They were married for 52 years.

He was born and raised in Khanewal, Pakistan. As a lifetime member of the Methodist Church, Mr. Daniel's faith was very important to him. Alexander graduated from high school in Pakistan in 1948.  He worked for Sui Southern Gas Company from 1956-1991, obtaining his Certificate of Foremanship in 1966.  He completed his college degree in 1975 and ultimately became a manager for Sui Southern Gas Co.

Alexander immigrated to the United States in the early 1990s.  He worked as a cashier at the Hess Gas Station.  In his free time he enjoyed reading books and gardening.

Mr. Daniel is survived by his children Primrose Samson, Azra Hidayat, Iris Albert, Samson Daniel and Solomon Daniel and 12 grandchildren.  He is also survived by siblings Sheila Nazeer, Zeenat Jacob and David Daniel along with daughters-in-law Maudlyn Daniel and Rupanzel Daniel.

Mr. Daniel's funeral service is Wednesday, April 6th at the Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home in Media.  Friends and family may attend a viewing from 10-11 am followed by the funeral at 11 am.  Burial: Mt. Hope Cemetery in Aston.
